St Bartolo Park

This protected area stretches between Pesaro and Gabicce and marks the beginning of Central Italy's hill system. From the green hills to the blue sea, for a stretch of about 10 Km the coast plunges into the water.

In May the blossoming of the broom offers an unrivalled perfume and a unique play of colours. The Monte San Bartolo Park boasts significant archaeological and historical artefacts, which range from the Neolithic finds in the Monte Castellaro area to the mosaics from the III cent. B.C. in Colombarone, along the old Flaminian road.

Make sure you don't miss the ancient historical centres of the highlands: Fiorenzuola di Focara and Casteldimezzo, passing through the enchanting villas and renaissance gardens in Villa Caprile and Villa Imperiale.
