The Furlo Gorge is now a National Reserve, including 3600-hectare wide woods, meadows and untouched peaks.

The gorge is a true paradise, formed by the Mount Pietralata and Paganuccio, amidst which the Candigliano river cuts a real canyon.

This gorgeous natural landscape boasts unique examples of animals and vegetation. The golden eagle, the eagle owl, the wallcreeper, the red-billed chough, all these are but a few examples of the animals that inhabit this wonderful area, that you can encounter on your trekking and mountain bike tours. Truffles and wild berries are grown as protected products.
